The floating bar (Write, Scan, Photo) is only available on Inventory. - Enter the food name — Type the name of the food or pick a suggested food item. As you type, the suggestions will update. Tapping a suggestion will fill in the name, a suggested expiry date, inventory and category. - Choose inventory and other details — Select which list to add the item to (Fridge, Freezer, Pantry, etc.). Then select other details like expiry date, category, quantity, content, price and storage place. - Tap save to add the item — Tap the save button to add the item to your inventory. When an item is added, it will also be added to your library. The free barcode scanner has more than 600,000 local products across 15 countries: Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, Australia, UK, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand and Spain. When picked, the scanned items will be added to this list. - Point the camera at the barcode — Hold your device so the barcode is visible in the frame. The app will scan it automatically. The product will then be saved to the barcode database and to your inventory list. - Scan the expiry date — When you have scanned an item, you will get the option to scan the expiry date from the packaging if you are a Pro user.
